Lindsay Park Racing have been in business for 71 years (since 1947) started by Colin Hayes, father of David Hayes. Lindsay Park Racing Stables is a ‘complete’ service thoroughbred training facility based in Victoria, Australia.
Lindsay Park Racing has one of the most impeccable stables in the country with thoroughbred G1 racing contenders like Redkirk Warrior who in 2018 raced at Royal Ascot, Harlem who won at the VRC Australian Cup and All Thrills Too who won at the Hong Kong International Sprint. It takes a team of more than 80 people to train, operate, feed and look after Lindsay Parks 4 key stables. Marino Angelini and his son Peter Angelini who also sits on the board of directors have carefully looked at every aspect of this business, tweaked it and consolidated many loose ends into a high profitable business.
Their main training base is located just outside of the town of Euroa, north east of Melbourne. Lindsay Park Racing also have stables at Flemington Racecourse (Melbourne) and Randwick Racecourse (Sydney) and on course at Morphettville in Adelaide. Having interstate stables enables David Hayes and his team to place their horses to maximise returns to owners. David’s eldest son Ben who operates in the training partnership oversees the interstate stables. David’s nephew Tom Dabernig trains alongside David at Euroa in their partnership.
